Cambridgeshire based company, Privilege Finance, has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards in recognition of their dedication to providing funding solutions to the UK AD industry.

The finance provider is down to the final four of the 2017 AD & Biogas Industry Awards (ADBA) in the category of ‘Best financial AD support’, and is also a finalist in the British Renewable Energy Awards (REA) ‘Financial Leadership’ category.

“We’re absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for both of these highly regarded industry awards,” said Phil Gerrard, CEO of Privilege Finance.

“As a business, our primary focus is on supporting the growth of the UK AD and bi
ogas sectors, through the provision of funding and technical support, utilising an entire ‘lifecycle’ approach to each project,” he explained.

“We’ve already invested over £250 million in AD plants in the UK and our vision is to continue working with the wider industry to make AD a viable and successful diversification option for farmers, landowners, food manufacturers and food waste processors.

“It’s great to receive recognition for the work we do and we’re all really looking forward to hearing the final results in the coming weeks.”

The winners of the REA awards will be announced on 15 June at the Savoy Hotel in London and the winners of 2017 ADBA awards will be announced on 5 July during a gala dinner at the NEC in Birmingham, on the first night of the UK AD & Biogas and World Biogas (ADBA) Expo 2017.

“We’re exhibiting at the ADBA World Biogas Expo 2017 and would encourage any visitors who are looking for information or guidance on funding AD projects to come along and visit us on stand XX,” explained Phil.

“Our newest recruit, Dr Phil Hobbs will also be presenting on ‘AD optimisation’
on 7 July which offers delegates a great opportunity to learn about getting the most from their AD plants.”
